Florian is a professional dance school founded in 1985 in Winchester, Hampshire. Florian welcomes students of all ages and aims to provide a positive and professional environment in which students develop their passion for dance and are inspired to achieve their full potential.

We were asked by Emma Emmerson, the school principal, to help develop the school brand and create a new website. The main aim was to modernise the school branding, whilst retaining the history and tradition of the school and its reputation. It was essential to communicate both a professional and traditional approach, as well as ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment was conveyed.

The brand core uses a striking modern serif typeface combined with a strong colour palette to create a high-class modern aesthetic. Youthful photography of pupils alongside this adds a warm and welcoming feel.
