Paul Raftery and Dan Lowe have been working on a new time-lapse video documentumenting the construction of “the Cheesegrater”, a 225-metre skyscraper by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in the City of London. This project follows their successful project covering the build of the Shard.
This really made me smile. A beautifully executed 3D short film directed by Nicolas Deveaux featuring high board diving Giraffe’s. Paris based Cube Creative marks a decade in business with this magical and architecturally stunning film named for the average height of its stars. This film follows on from Nicolas’s previous film 7 Tonnes 3 which features a trampolining elephant.
Matt Pyke’s latest work at Universal Everything for Hyundai is absolutely stunning. The Creators Project has done a short documentary about Matt’s work (above), showing how Universal Everything works together as a team and what drives their creativity. It’s a great insight into how they create such beautiful motion graphics work.
Our local expert in architectural photography Paul Raftery has collaborated with director Dan Lowe to create a timelapse film showing the final weeks of construction of The Shard tower in London. It was shot over many long days during the early months of 2012, from locations spanning from Greenwich Park to Hampstead Heath.
We have been working closely with Victoria Lambert to develop her new journalism website Under the Scope. Today the website has launched alongside the publication of news articles and videos. The above video is a short introduction of what the website is all about. Work included the development of branding for Under the Scope, video graphics and the design and build of a CMS based website integrated with social media.
We’ve recently been working with INK to develop their online identity and launch a CMS website to feature their latest work. INK are a London based studio that use digital illustration and animation to tell stories and bring ideas to life. Posted above is their recent CG film for Silverstone Race Circuit to promote the new pit, paddock and race facilities.
I really like this sequence of language videos from EF Language Schools. A collaboration between Gustav Johansson, Niklas Johansson, Albin Holmqvist and Camp David the videos combine evocative film with beautiful typography. Nice soundtracks too. I’m not sure which my favorite is.
